USEFUL INFORMATION
PATCH TESTING
Patch tests are required for new clients 48 hours prior to your lash or brow treatment. Patch tests will also be required every 6 months for existing clients.
FACIAL WAXING
Avoid all heat treatments before and after waxing. This includes saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds and swimming. Do not use Retinols for 7 days before or after waxing. Please do not book a facial treatment for 14 days after having any aesthetic treatments.
OPI NAILS
Don’t forget your flip flops when having a pedicure!
MOBILITY
Unfortunately we do not have wheelchair access to The Retreat Rooms.
PARKING
There is a multi story car park behind The Retreat Rooms based near Waitrose.
LOCATION
We are located on the High Street inside the black door at Make Believe Ideas. Next door to Nena Bakery. Press the button for THE RETREAT ROOMS and we will let you in. Please make sure you have a scheduled appointment so someone is available for you.
LATE ARRIVALS
Regretfully if you arrive more than 10 minutes late we may be required to reschedule your appointment or offer an alternative service.
CHILDREN AND PETS
The Retreat Rooms has not been designed for children or pets so we politely ask that you do not bring them along to your appointment.
GIFT VOUCHERS
You can purchase gift vouchers either by telephone, email or online. If you wish to collect your voucher please arrange a time for collection so we can make sure someone is available to assist you. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase. Vouchers are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for money.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING FEE AND CANCELLATION POLICY
We kindly ask you to give 72 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. After 48 hours the 50% booking fee will be taken and after 24 hours the treatment must be paid in full.
BOOKING A TREATMENT FROM A PREPAID COURSE
If you are booking online with a prepaid course please book under COURSE from the appropriate service e.g. MASSAGE COURSE, COLLAGENWAVE COURSE. This way it will be automatically deducted and will not ask for a deposit. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, The Retreat Rooms kindly ask that you call us no later than 48 hours before your appointment. Failure to give the full notice will result in the treatment being redeemed by the clinic. This allows us to manage the diary and offer the appointment time to another client.
COVID-19 UPDATES
The Retreat Rooms will continue to operate with the 72 hour cancellation policy However, if your exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, The Retreat Rooms ask that you contact us as soon as possible to rearrange your appointment on 07939 254345.
CREDIT CARD DETAILS, BOOKING FEES AND PAYMENTS
To secure an appointment at The Retreat Rooms, a booking fee is required. This will be taken at the time of booking. The Retreat Rooms holds the right to withhold the booking fee should you cancel within the 48 hour notice period. All card details will be secured via the online booking system. The Retreat Rooms will not have access to your bank details.
COURSES OF TREATMENTS
All treatments purchased as a course must be paid in full. All treatment courses must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 12 months will be forfeited. Courses are only refunded for medical reasons.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Please inform The Retreat Rooms prior to your appointment if you are undergoing any new medical treatment; taking new medications; any known allergies; have a herpetic breakout (cold sore); undertaken any aesthetic treatments or permanent make-up in the last 14 days; any facial waxing/ laser or threading in the last 7 days; are pregnant or trying to become pregnant.
It may be advised not to proceed with the booked treatment for your own welfare.
A doctors letter may be required before a treatment is carried out. This is standard practice for your own wellbeing.
LIABILITY
The Retreat Rooms is a fully licenced and insured clinic. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that they provide The Retreat Rooms with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. The Retreat Rooms will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client's failure to disclose such details.
YOUR RIGHT TO COMPLAIN
The Retreat Rooms strives to give you an experience you will never forget. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with the service, please contact The Retreat Rooms by phone, email or in person.
INSURANCE
The Retreat Rooms has full public liability, product liability and professional treatment cover.
